This website is dedicated to all alumni of the Landing and Recovery Division and its supporting organizations for their contributions during the Gemini and Apollo Programs.

Everyone should take a couple of minutes and reflect on Milt Heflin's 2007 essay, "Remembering Apollo 1, Challenger, and Columbia", which was recirculated this year around the time of the NASA Day of Remembrance on January 25.

Sad news that David Cordiner passed away January 22 in Temple, Texas. Dave worked in the division office from April 1967 to November 1970 on technical documentation and finished his career with Rockwell after retiring from NASA. (Obituary)

If you are an alumni of LRD or a supporting organization and would like to be on distribution, please email your contact info to hopalong12@verizon.net.

Calling all LRD alumni, jot down your war stories and dig out your old photos and mail/email to cmjesq@comcast.net (mailed photos will be returned to you quickly.) Comments on the LRD website are appreciated too.
